Carolina
Film Factory Mission Statement
This is done through a combination of production, promotion, and presentation of independent films and documentaries in North and South Carolina. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, CFF will commit its own resources and leverage the extensive resources of the film community in the Carolinas to further the development of new cinema and raise interest in independent cinematic arts in the surrounding area. CFF wants to provide maximum exposure for work made in the Carolinas by area filmmakers. The main thrust of our efforts will be to utilize and help promote our members projects through various film festivals. We will also be adding a store to our website which will allow viewers from around the world to watch purchase films by CFF members and view trailers of their projects. The group's primary focus is education and training
of new filmmakers. Through the ongoing projects of group members in a
collaborative environment, participants have the opportunity to hone skills
or acquire new ones in a real production environment no matter what their
educational or industry background. The unique thing about the film medium is that it incorporates so many other art forms and crafts into the finished product. The Carolinas are filled with these artists, who long for more creative outlets. The Organization The Carolina Film Factory (CFF)
is a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization dedicated to the production, presentation
and promotion of the film arts in North and South Carolina. Utilizing
a strategy of hands on education, professional guidance, and public exhibition,
CFF assists independent filmmakers to accomplish their dreams. The CFF
sponsors productions for its members who utilize the group's network to
maximize resources and minimize expenses for independent films.
