Below are some of the exciting projects in the works at Carolina Film Factory, dedicated to the creative ventures of North and South Carolina's independent film directors, producers, writers and actors.

"The Meeting Place"

A members only venue hosting some of the best talent that the Carolina's has to offer. Performances by various musicians, film screenings, art shows, and comedians will be hosted every week. The Meeting Place will operate as a non-profit club and will be open 7 days a week, from 5pm till 12am weekdays, till 1am weekends. Our non-profit club status will allow us to serve alcoholic libations (wine,beer,liquor) to our members at a much reduced price. Food will not be served but members may bring it in for their own consumption. The profits from the bar will be used to fund the operations of the Carolina Film Factory. We are currently seeking 200 charter members to fund the startup of the club. Charter members are asked to donate $100 each and for that they will receive a lifetime membership to the club and various discount coupons for use in the first year. Regular memberships in the club will be $10 every six months, or $18 per year. Scheduled opening is June, 2009. All memberships are tax deductible.
