At the Carolina Film Factory Inc. we are committed to helping the filmmaker realize their vision. In order for us to consider assisting any filmmaker, we have to first screen, then evaluate, and finally decide which projects are suitable and within our capabilities. We accept film projects from all live action genres, however special consideration is given to projects that meet one or more of the following qualifications; Have
no nudity and limit profanity The first step in submitting your project for consideration… Email us (newprojects@carolinafilmfactory.org) the following; 1.
A complete synopsis of the project.
For example; DO NOT send us your completed screenplay. We will NOT read it and will delete the email it was attached to. If we agree to assist you with your project, you will have some disclosure documents that you must first sign, and then we will request a copy of your registered (via WGA, etc.) screenplay. Send
the above three REQUIRED items to newprojects@carolinafilmfactory.org “projectname”Synopsis
(i.e. Star Wars Synopsis) Please include your name, address, and telephone number in the body of the message. A special notice to writers… We are NOT a production organization in the sense that we are soliciting screenplays from writers to produce. If you are a writer and you want your screenplay produced, you must first contact us as a producer, or be associated with a producer, and have him/her contact us by submitting the information outlined above. Notification of Acceptance or Decline You
will be notified via email when we receive your submission. An additional
email will be sent once your project request has been accepted or declined.
Due to the varying volume of submissions, this decision can take from
1 to 6 weeks. Please be patient. Please DO NOT call us via telephone,
or send additional emails, requesting the status of your project request.
